Aww was one turn away from beating 2BP without any CEs. Also ugh the new girl looks even worse when you see her full portrait. Theyre so big and make her whole body look bizarrely proportioned

I think I can do the 1M if I change Servants without any items or CEs so thats nice. I guess the 3* CE is the only thing that boosts Coral drops? Farming Coral with my AP right now even though I only have the 1 story CE.

Definitely able to beat the 1M. Getting Corals is painfully slow though since Im not doing any pulling aside from the daily free Friend multi. I am a little less than 100 away from my first CE.
I dunno who to put it on though since I cant level Kintoki up still. Ushi or Santa Alter I guess?

Without more than 2 total CEs counting a friend I dont think I even get double digit coral drops from 30AP oof

Oh so once the HP is cleared and you do the repelled you dont get to replay the gate? Wish I got more runs in on the first one

It comes back later in the event, with better drop rates I think. As long as you got the first Golden Sumo from the shop you should be good.

I didnt get it because I didnt realize I had less than 24 hours to do the first gate....I guess I can get Corals still from Free Quests, but the drops are hot garbage without a lot of the CEs

If its damage points I didnt get enough there either since I only got to play a bit

Got 2 Sumos now and thats it. I can probably do the 3M stage now for 2BP without it being a waste since I should be able to do at least a little over 1M. I guess I can use beans too, but so far I havent since 1M isnt really worth using them on.

My last two runs for the night I was Crit by the Oni boss a dozen times. That seems like an awful lot of critical hits for 30 turns

Holy shit Euryale is a legit goddess.

Ran her with Tamamo + Waver and she can smack the blue oni for up to 3 million damage within three turns with just a non-MLB sumo and one bath CE. (With blue beans used, of course.)

I gotta get the 3rd skill for my Euryale still. Something I wouldve had plenty of time to do if we werent getting nonstop events with 0 break time.....

Got her 3rd skill. Dont have the bath CE yet and wasnt running Tamamo or a friend Waver, but she still put out pretty good damage 500k~ with her own buff arts chain alone

Ok Euryale is worthy of her goddess title. She pretty much solos Tamamo and the blue Oni all by herself. I might be able to try 3BP now that I have a bath CE and 2 Sumos. Tamamo/Euryale/Waver is like mega easy mode

The amount of customization you can do with Servants is pretty neat. I just reverted Tamamo to 2nd ascension for everything instead of just for her sprite. I didnt even know you could switch the card art back to different ascension levels too

We must all be having an easy time. This Raid is so much better than the first. The next Oni shouldnt be too hard either since Shiki can destroy him so pretty damn easy event and I love it. It wont be a chore at all to NP5 Kintoki and get all the rewards

This is a much better even than the first raid.

First raid's challenge isn't the type of challenge that's good imo. Too much RNG there unless you ran double waver.

Rashomon was great on the challenge front besides the fact that an Ibaraki crit can ruin your run instantly and there was pretty much no way to play around it besides save scumming. Onigashima's raids are definitely too easy but I'm a little worn out from all the events lately so I'll take a quick and easy win over a well-earned victory right now.

Pretty much the only way to counterplay fluke Ibaraki crits was to run double waver (or Waver+Tamamo, which still has a 5* servant entry fee), yeah.

You could taunt spam for a bit of stability but that wasn't 100% foolproof vs crits.

Just a poorly designed battle I think. I'll take easy over poorly designed, personally. Hopefully later phases step up though.

Rashomon was very consistent and I never ran double Waver or Tamamo. I only savescummed once or twice, and that was due to me forgetting to use skills, not random crits screwing me over (I always recovered from those). I was actually surprised how easy it ended up being.

What was your teamcomp

Because without Waver defense up you can easily have your primary DPS get literally one shotted by a crit. It stretches credibility to say you'd never been screwed by a random crit when you ran it as many times as you did.

Jalter/Hans/Waver/Mash/George/Cu. Jalter never once died, Waver occasionally died, and I usually swapped Hans out before he died (George died every time, and Mash died frequently).

With Ibaraki it was a new thing each day, her crits being enough to 1-2 shot fully buffed Waver/taunters/your dps and two stupid hands with one having a very short NP charge to worry about. She wasnt any fun at all and if it isnt drastically changed on the rerun I am completely skipping that bullshit

It still strains credibility that Jalter never got killed with that comp to be blunt-- would guess that "one or two" is hyperbolic in the minimalist direction and you played a bit risky with your skill uses so "forgetting to use your skills" was done only after calculating fluke crits, but whatever. Maybe I'm wrong and just got very unlucky with my low sample size. I mean I'm not saying my comp was as good or anything, but I know what damage ranges those crits can hit and how frequently they can occur which is going to apply regardless of what comp you're using unless you have a strategy that uses two wavers or are literally taunt locking (which that comp isn't doing).

Lopen dont forget his Jalter is NP2 and grailed to 100. We could all cruise through 3BP with a monster like that

Well I used a better Jalter than that (in failed attempts-- I eventually found Waver was mandatory for any sort of consistency)-- had a whale friend who had her at NP3 Level 100.

She still gets crushed by crits if waver Def up isn't up. She's not exactly the most durable servant in the world.

Well shes a bit more durable when you can run her with Waver and have taunters who can take damage in her place. He mustve had amazing RNG luck too because I ate like 3-5 Ibaraki crits PER fight :(

First run of 3BP I killed Tamamo and got the Oni down to 200k. Not bad for only 1 bath CE, 1 friend bath CE and 2 Sumos. Who even needs Oda for this event

3BP cleared. I wish this stage was staying up the whole time. Almost at my 2nd bath CE from damage points.

Yeah this stage is super breezy. Apparently Shiki can handle the next one pretty darn well but I doubt she'll be pumping out Euryale numbers.

I guess Scathach is potentially capable of legit 1HKOing the fourth and final raid? Those numbers are going to be hilarious to see.

Doesnt seem like anybody else is grinding Coral since I cant find the 3* CE on anything. Mountain Trail Oni is a pretty good stage for it and even has a chance of Arts Beans. Ive been using non-friends to get through it just because I cant find anything else. Oh yeah I set my Euryale as my Archer Support though Im sure most everybody here has a good one of their own

Nah, I mean literally forgetting to use my skills. Taunts were definitely key -> George and Mash = three turns of taunts, which is fantastic. It also helped that my longest runs were 9 turns, with good runs being 6 and the average being 7 or 8. Waver and Hans's Defense bonuses were both a big deal, Waver's NP often stunned Ibaraki, and I'd sometimes manage to get two Hans NPs off within 3 turns. I didn't do 3BP a whole ton - probably ~15 times through the whole event - but I never really felt like I was in danger of losing.

remember that the oni arts also give you 2 free turns without crits and you can anticipate when they'll be used since they're hp-based. between that and everything else i don't find it implausible.

My next CE is at 120M points. Looks like its the last one too. Breezing through this thing

Approaching 150M now....I wont even need damage points at all soon
