I think Black Panther had this neat advantage where it used MCU build-up but it also wasn't intimidating for people who didn't care about the MCU. It was also a cultural milestone. I think the advantage for Infinity War isn't just the build-up. It's the sheer number of franchises that are involved now. GOTG and Black Panther are both extremely popular properties now and they haven't been in a crossover movie since their releases. Then of course you've got the typical Avengers line-up and now Spider-man on top of that. That potentially has a really broad appeal. It's all pretty unprecedented really. It's exciting.
