So... Yeah. Hannity claims it was almost nothing, for his part. Cohen seems to be reporting that he was a client, though.

My favorite part is where Hannity is saying he was never his client but then he says attorney client privilege protects him.

Who are his celebrity clients?

Just Trump, the GOP fellow that was covering up an abortion, and Hannity. He had no other clients. He has more attorneys than clients. Previously he covered up Trump Jr.'s affair. So at best he's a lawyer that hides affairs or possibly illegal things

He's a dirty as fuck lawyer is what he is

As Foxx is alluding to, the reason this is an interesting story is because of whom Cohen is and what he does. He's not so much a lawyer as he is a "fixer." He does people's dirty work for them. If Sean Hannity was using his services, it strongly implies that he had something shady that he needed help with. You don't go to Michael Cohen for any other reasons.

Like a mob lawyer? Most families don't have a family lawyer to bury their pile of dirty laundry

Just think about all of the coverage of Cohen before. The leak rumors. His history. It could have been very intentionally done through Cohen.

Trump and Hannity are very close and this is really interesting

To be fair, even if you don't actually hire a lawyer, I think the consultation is protected under attorney-client. Same for doctors and Hippo.

Zeus, the fact that you call me a conspiracy guy is fucking hilarious. That Michael Cohen is a dirty shit is well-known. This isn't some fantasy cooked up in the dark corners of the paranoid Internet. Dude got his place raided for a reason. A judge, the Justice Department, the FBI, and shit loads of other people had to sign off on raiding a personal lawyer of the President of the United States. That means they had overwhelming probable cause that he had evidence of serious crimes, and that he would almost certainly destroy that evidence (hence raiding rather than issuing a subpoena).

Oh, right, I forgot that an arrest for anything means that they're guilty of the most heinous things imaginable. That's why Clinton getting a traffic ticket proved that Pizzagate was real.

They raided the fucking President's lawyer. That's way too serious for it to be nothing. Issuing a subpoena against a regular lawyer is a huge deal. This was a raid. Against the President's lawyer. Please understand that.

Either Michael Cohen is absolutely fucked, or everyone involved in the raid is absolutely fucked. They wouldn't have done this without extremely good cause.

Because apparently any connection to a president means you're immune to investigation except when it's "way too serious to be nothing"?

And following that, the President requested that a judge block prosecutors from access to that information.

This information about Hannity was requested days ago: https://www.politico.com/story/2018/04/13/michael-cohen-hearing-fbi-raid-522053

Sometime prior to Mondays physical searches of Cohens home, office and hotel room, investigators seized emails from multiple different email accounts maintained by Cohen, the new court filing revealed. Prosecutors suggested they had completed a review of potential attorney-client material in those accounts.

The results of that review ... indicate that Cohen is in fact performing little to no legal work, and that zero emails were exchanged with President Trump, assistant U.S. attorney Thomas McKay and other prosecutors wrote.

Portions of a court filing detailing what potential offenses Cohen is being investigated over were blacked out of the copy the court made public, but prosecutors said the potential crimes involve fraud and evidence of a lack of truthfulness.

McKay and other government lawyers challenged Cohens claims of attorney-client privilege, saying his law practice was far from bustling.

Cohens claim that he has confidential communications with multiple clients appears to be exaggerated. For example, Cohen has told at least one witness that he has only client President Trump, prosecutors wrote.

Government lawyers also suggested Trumps lack of computer savvy makes it unlikely there are many emails from him.

Cohen apparently rarely emailed with President Trump, and has identified no other clients with whom he has an attorney-client relationship, they said.

Prosecutors said the files are unlikely to contain attorney-client communications with Trump about an alleged pre-election $130,000 hush money deal with adult film actress Stormy Daniels, since Trump claims he didnt know about the payment.

There is reason to doubt that even communications with his only publicly identified client regarding payments to Stephanie Clifford, who is also known as Stormy Daniels, would be protected by attorney-client privilege. Among other things, President Trump has publicly denied knowing that Cohen paid Clifford, and suggested to reporters that they had to ask Michael about the payment, the government lawyers wrote.

Law degree, practicing law, has attorneys working for his law firm... idk, kinda sounds like a lawyer.
