since this version of the dub has been fixing a lot of the naming differences between the japanese version and the original Funi dub I'm surprised they still referred to the room at Kami's Lookout as the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and not the Room of Spirit and Time

Hyperbolic Time Chamber is not that far off from the original Japanese name. They kept Special Beam Cannon which is way less accurate

The version of Kai that I watched definitely changed special beam Cannon to Makankosappo and also Destructo disk to Kienzan

I dunno, maybe I just know the game better than I think I do. I certainly don't play it very often, but there were tons of times he was just skipping areas with chests that were driving me crazy. (He did eventually go back and get most of them, but there's still a handful he left on the table).

Also he totally could have gotten through the Eastern Palace without the Lantern.

Can you do it without a bow? I forget if any of those red cyclopes are gating a locked door, or if the doors are all switch-based

Hmm, yeah you're right, the final two rooms are gated by clearing all the enemies so you'd need the bow to actually finish the dungeon.

Still, getting through the dark rooms isn't that hard !

Fortunately Abby and Alex call out much of the bullshit especially since Abby went to an actual rigorous film school and not University of Kansas. Honestly from some of what Dan said I don't even understand how he has a film degree. He didn't fully know what the Rule of Thirds is?
