Well you can look at how much that generation, as a whole accomplished, and what sorts of cultural norms and whatnot they passed on. Obviously it isn't some magical truth that will accurately describe each individual, but it's useful to make such generalizations.

All of this being said, at least in the US, baby boomers are definitely the worst, though I have a feeling that given enough time, millennial will prove to be just as bad. Horrible values, horrible parenting, lackadaisical financial attitudes, and just all around crappy people. The silent generation did a bad job raising them.

@Hop103 Gen Z is not more conservative. They are actually more libertarian....Remember for SJWs everyone who is not far left is far right, even moderate left people

God the Baby Boomer generation is just fucking horrible. Not only did they start the downfall of U.S.'s economy by voting in one of the worst presidents in history(Reagan) twice, but they had to fuck it up for the future generations again by voting in Trump. (an overwhelming number of Boomers voted for Trump)

After all that, they still have the balls to talk about how great their generation is how all subsequent generations are shit. Like how dense can these people get?

And I believe people who do research more than I believe random people. No one seems to agree on this. I've seen it defined as those who came of age in the first decade of the new millenium (I.E. born between ~1980 and 1995), but there's a bunch of other definitions floating out there as well. For the most part, demographers seem to define it (regardless of years selected) as those:

1) Who grew up in the first era where internet access was commonplace.
2) Who graduated high school and entered the job market during the Great Recession
3) Who were old enough to remember the pre-9/11 era, but who largely grew up and came of age dealing with its aftereffects.

Milenials is a nickname for generation Y. People who come of age by the turn of the milenium...people bien in tjhe 2000 onwards are not milenials they are generation Z or igen
