Can you even get a decent non-4K TV? Like a TV that has Netflix, Hulu, and other apps? When I bought my TV it pretty much had to be 4K for the size I wanted (65").

That's a slightly different model then the one I got.

But yeah, I'm hella excited to get into 4K. I remember see my first 1080p blu-ray at a Fry's Electronics. I was blown away. I'm hella stoked to set this up and start streaming some content!

Congrats. Soon you can enjoy the hair pulling experience of trying to get everything to handshake properly. I've yet to meet someone that hasn't had problems. I have 65" Samsung in living room, and a 55" Sharp in my bedroom. Both of them are picky as shit on how they're set up.

Nice. I heard that's a great budget 4k tv. Low input lag and decent color.

I just got a Samsung mu8500 65" curved TV a few months back. Paid around $1700 CAD after taxes. Amazing TV. Upscales 1080p pretty nice. Good colors and blacks. Good brightness as well. Also very low input lag.

It took me some time to set up the picture for sure. Reviews say that movie mode is great out of the box but I think it looks bad on that setting.
