Not much on here, and not much in the news compared to other less important stories.

With Trump at the helm I can guarantee you its coming sooner rather than later. When they do you can be certain that Russia will retaliate, hard. This isnt a ragtag group like the Taliban or ISIS, Russia has immense fire power and their targets will be preselected for maximum damage.

The Middle East, i.e. Israel, Lebanon, Iran, etc will immediately explode into even worse disarray and bloodshed.

A lot of Americans will be killed.

Quite possibly the biggest conflict since WWII could start next week and we should be worried.

Who cares? That's not going to affect people who aren't actually apart of this

That's not gonna happen. Russia is strong but not half as strong as the US, and they're not stupid either. They're not going to respond with a show of force like that until they're in a good position to and that won't happen until a number of major geopolitical moves are made first.

By drawing so much attention to tiny stories and never shutting the fuck up about Trump, the major stories get lost in the shuffle.

"Trump gets peed on by Russian hookers."

Of all the situations to get hyped up over, it is not the one in Syria.

Russia has a presence in Syria though. I dont think its too unreasonable to believe that if a Russian command and control center with Russian soldiers was destroyed that they wouldnt retaliate almost immediately.

Well TC if your interested do some research about a company called genie oil. If you start there, do your history about BP oil. The picture will start to form.

Closest thing I can find is we want to build a pipeline through Syria, and so does russia. There is supposed to be over a trillion dollars worth of oil in one of regions. Whoever controls that, will probably control the world economy for a great deal of time. Or a least have a severe advatange over everyone.

I doubt it will actually come to blows: Putin is smart enough to know he doesn't stand a chance in a head-on fight. Their military doesn't have the hardware to hang with ours: the best they could do is lose or draw in a MADD nuclear exchange. Either way, Putin loses.
Nonetheless, this may lead to an escalation in our involvement in Syria, which will inevitably lead to increased casualties, and we ultimately don't even have a proxy that could replace Assad(our Kurdish allies undoubtedly have little interest in controlling more Arab-majority territory or in fighting Assad). This means Syria's fate is bleak no matter what we do.

Syria is just Iraq 2.0. It's another disaster waiting to happen. ISIS / other rebels aka America's Middle East police force gased the people, not Assad.
