Dennis Alexander, the incompetent California Teacher who fired a GUN by accident in the classroom that shot into the roof and hit a student during a SAFETY LESSON has RESIGNED from his job despite students supporting the teacher to stay because he was "cool"

He was placed on leave in the March 13th incident at Seaside High School during a gun safety class when his Glock 21 .45 caliber handgun was pointed toward the ceiling when it fired suddenly causing pieces to hit a student below where he also got gun fragments in him.

Fermin Gonzales says his 17 y/o son was injured and had to be taken to hospital for the fragments in his neck and ironically, the gun went off when the teacher wanted to make sure the gun wasn't LOADED..and then it goes off

He said to an audience "I want to apologize from the bottom of my heart to this community, to Seaside High School, to students, toe everybody in the whole community for the incident that happened. I can't find the words to say how sorry i am for the incident, and i also want to thank those who showed support, it helps a lot, it gets me through the day"

Gonzales said that school officials didn't even check up with them ot see if his son was okay either as teachers aren't legally allowed to bring firearms to class even if they have a permit. Dennis was a RESERVE OFFICER as well and it was careless on his part to have let this happen.

He also brought the gun more than ONCE in class as students poured in the room to support the teacher and said that he made his classes "fun' because he PASSED AROUND his firearm in class for students to pose with selfies because it made them look like BADASSES!!.

A girl said she picked up the gun as a freshman when it was passed around as well..

Now the students are starting a petition for Dennis to keep his job as they called him a respected teacher on cmapus who is influential because he taught them about different firearms, forensics, arson etc..

Dude is probably a cool ads teacher. I feel bad for the kids cause they don't understand why he is being fired. But as cool as that dude may be, he is not teaching them proper safety for the firearm. They got lucky it only shot into the roof and just injured a kid with shrapnel. Imagine how one of thsoe kid swould feel if they accidently shot someone and killed them. This also makes me question the safety of his other science stuff. I had a teacher in middle school blow off his thumb. This guy could have had something worse happen.

Nope. A in shape MMA fighter looks more "badass" then some person with a gun simply because anyone can hold a gun.

Hence it making anybody look more badass. Kind of like how a cigarette makes people look more cool (unless they're hooked up to an oxygen tank, at which point they just look like a moron)
