I just got done messaging a friend this lmao. I really like the game, I really want to replay it in its entirety after all DLC is done, and now that's looking like that replay won't happen until 2020. Eesh.

I played it at launch and was thinking about getting Royal Edition for all the DLC but wasnt looking forward to all that grinding again. At least this will give me a reason to hold it off and probably get a price drop.

Yeah they really want to prolong the life of this game. With that said, the new DLC's are going to be character episodes for ones that I care about like Ardyn, Aranea, and maybe Lunafreya. Maybe Ravus is going to be in there as well, I don't know.

Maybe when all the DLC is done the game will finally be complete like it should have been. It started out amazing and then collapsed into a pile of shit after 10 hours. Story was complete garbage. Hopefully this fixes that.

FFXV was literally glorified Early Access shit, but instead of just releasing the final game over time (or just scrapping the game as is more often the case) they charge for each individual update.

I waited for this game for over 10 years. I bought a PS3 for this game and I just lost interest before it came out.
I may buy the complete edition when it comes out eventually.

I disagree.
The dlc doesn't really fix anything for a regular playthrough of the game. 90% of it is just tacked on to the game that you can play at any time. It doesn't actually change the experience of a normal playthrough besides some very minor features. It's like saying the FF15 anime or cgi movie changes the experience.

Yeah, it's honestly a very bad practice. The worst part is that even with the DLC pass, it doesn't give you access to the stuff afterwards, which only screws over the people who bought the game day 1 than the late comers.

Agreed with Ardyn, you can at least understand why he's so fucking pissed, not to mention his sexy voice and demeanor only seals the deal. Also agreed with Luna, I honestly didn't feel anything when Luna got killed by Ardyn because she's just so plain. The only thing I got from her is that she likes Noctis a lot, even though the last time they met was like 10 years ago. The relationship between Noctis and Luna felt artificial for this reason.

My exact problem with her. And even the scenes with her in it, you didn't actually get any kind of impression at all as to what kind of person she was outside her mythical duty. Just. Blegh. her death scene was really beautiful and it was wasted on a trash character.
