On the internet browser are insane.
Every time I out my phone in sleep an ad comes up. A whole new stupid webpage ad.
Sometimes it'll do it even while I'm actively using it. Like as I was typing the topic title it brought me to a page advertising one of those fake YouTube giveaway or whatever.

I got an adblocker but that didn't do anything, what do?

can your phone be rooted, and if so, will you do that if it meant getting rid of every single ad on the device, period

*shrugs* This doesn't happen to me. Did you turn on the built-in ad blocker as well? What ad blocker extension are you using?

since it looks like your phone can't be rooted

get firefox browser and install ublock origin

at least this way you wont get page ads. device ads are a different story that requires you to find and disable whatever app is pushing the ads which is a pain in the ass.

That's what roughly thirty seconds of googling seems to think, anyway.

i just use firefox now, that doesnt get the ads even without the ublock origin so thats cool

Uninstall any phone fixing apps or if you have a flashlight app downloaded.

No, dont do this. Those cause more problems then solve. Samsung Device maintenance works 1000, better then those. I have helped people who are having problems with their phones and as soon as i uninstall those apps the problems disappear
