My boyfriend and I are 15 years apart. We've been together for over a year now and get along just fine. It's only weird when I think about I think about a chronological difference, like how he was essentially my age now when 9/11 happened when I was only 7 the time. But normally we think nothing of it.

I don't get why a 29 year old would want to date an 18 year old. She can be "mature for her age" or whatever, but she hasn't really lived or experienced much in comparison. Literally fresh out of high school. How immature/sheltered is the guy that he could actually be a potential match for her?

It's weird since the typical 18 year old isn't as mature as a 29 year old, and doesn't have as much life experience. I wouldn't be able to stand being in a relationship with a teenager, but whatever. Some people are more mature than their age and some less. They're adults, they can do what they want.
