I tried the early access version and it sucked, but the most recently updated build (March 2018) is on sale, and it's actually pretty fun.

It's like a third-person Lego Island mixed with Minecraft.

The steam reviews say the opposite but itd pretty cheap...whats fun about it?

My kid loves it, and honestly it's the Lego game I used to dream about when I was a kid. The fact that you can literally sit there and add/remove individual pieces in the environment, or build things brick by brick, is amazing to me, and the procedurally generated worlds are pretty impressive in their level of detail. I kind of wish it had more direction or a story, but its a pure sandbox which is cool too.

Also it runs soooooo much better now than it used to. We don't get stutters or freezes anymore, even on split screen.
