They do. They're a relic of when you used to grind down materials to craft gifts. Now the way to give gifts is to buy the Dragon Raid boxes.

I hit a major progression quest wall.

I need to have Seven Transcendence 5 Heroes <_>. I just have Epis right now, Morrah and Yanne at 4, and then a couple 3s and 2s. I'm going to need dozens of Infinite Stones and hundreds of millions of Gold.

With Kasels UW, he takes a lot of investment to be usable but is a pain to deal with when someone does have him geared. I'd probably just leave the extra sword in invent for now in case you ever get more. If you ever get the urge to grind it you can

My point is, I already have 2. I got the one you get for free in the storyline, AND my login bonus "random" ticket gave me another.

So what should I do with the second one? Combine? Grind? Something else?

I personally keep all my UWs right now because the way I figure it, I will be pissed if I grind some and then end up getting it multiple times again in the future. Especially as we get nerfs/buffs every 2 weeks. The only exception would be like heroes I would never ever run

You also can't do anything with 250 fragments, you need 1000. So there's no point grinding something unless it pushes you over 1000

Do you sell your Cursed Flasks, or grind them out for the Rubies? The Ruby return seems so small, the cash almost seems better lol, but still... they're Rubies.

I went an rerolled a lot of my accounts as I havent been happy with my progression. I think I rerolled my first one about 40 times or something trying to high roll the free uw and three x10s

I think I settled on a mirriane uw and a cloe uw. Also got Marias ut and shes also in my inn this go around.

All content/heroes are accessible and you're never at the whim of a Gacha system. There's no heroes hidden behind a Gacha system. The Heroes 'Unique Weapons' can be pulled from the Gacha but you can also get these items various other farmable ways. All Heroes can be flat out bought for ingame currency (which isn't terrible to get) including brand new ones or you can get a new Hero from the Inn every 15-18 days.

Right now I have 20k rubies and by no means have I been hoarding them nor do I spend real money. You'll have 6k rubies probably by like ch5 and less than a week of playing

What level are you now and how many rubies do you have?

I've played through chapter 1 on easy med and hard, I think my team level is around 6? (My guys are all around level 20-21) and I have 750 Rubies

You get to around 6k when you hit like chapter 6 hard or something iirc

Youll spend more time trying to beat chapter seven than all the other ones combined

Make sure you rank somewhat in Arena. Get as far up as you can. You get a ruby reward weekly based on your overall position (by Sunday midnight). Even if you don't get up very high it should still be a couple hundred rubies.

After your initial 15 day login bonus, you get 500 rubies at Day 14 and 1000 Rubies at Day 21 on the rotating login bonus

You also get a bonus 500 rubies on Day 50 of login.

If you join a guild you should be able to get ~30 rubies a day from them clearing guild raid (just need to make sure you join an active one)

If you look through achievements, some of those give rubies too and aren't that hard to do. So you might be able to scrape some together from there.

I'm sure you can scrape together 6000 rubies together after a while.

You can hit ch6 hard in like four or five days if you optimize stamina use and hot time.

After that youll likely have to grind a few levels before you can beat the first level of chapter 7. You also would need to go back through 1 to 6 on hell. Chapter 7 normal is harder than 1-6 hell so keep that in mind.

The only way to grind presents, clear the highest/Quickest Dragon Raid you can. Or leech off someone (people don't m8nd it, increases their points too)

You need 900k points per week for 16k points of present. The first 300k points are worth 10k, the next 300k is 3k and following 300k is also 3k. So ideally you want to at least get 300k points if 900k sounds too much.

900k points is 84 of Black Dragon 75. For Black Dragon 70 it's like 130 runs or so I think. Anything below 70 is going to be crazy amounts, Black Dragon 69 is like 300 runs as an example. Black Dragon 60 is probably like 400-500 runs

Ricardo is an antimagic tank. So basically good at high end Arena but that's about it I think

Rare yes. Common no.

I mean you don't have to save Rares but every now and again an event will come saying use X amount of rare summons and receive these items (usually good items). Or when new heroes are released they have double drop rates on their banners which is what people usually save for.

I did another run and with the new achievements you can get to 6k rubies By clearing 1 to 4 on the first three day difficulties and a few daily rewards adding friends etc.

People fight Ice, but generally just for Tanking gear.

It's mostly because DPS is the most important aspect of the game, and Black Dragon offers universally sound gear for all units.

CC Resist gear could have a little use in PvP, or maybe something else, but it's also easier to gear up one set of universal gear than multiple sets of niche gear.

For what purpose? All 3 are good for different things

Phillop turns Black Dragon. This effectively shield your DPS from the fiery breath IF they are ranged. If they are melee it doesn't really help. Phillop is also really good for physical teams as he offers defense shredding.

Gau is able to instantly down the dragon with 1 ability. So he's great at keeping people alive if you manual, unreliable if you auto.

Clause's main ability is applying slow. So he's useful for BD but not as much as the other two.

So BD telegraphs his breath attack?

Yeah, it's most definitely the new end game. I was able to clear Knight 1 myself. I thought I would be able to do Archer 1 since I have two strong Archers, but no such luck.

I've since managed to clear 5. Knight 1 + 2, Mage 1 + 2, Warrior 1. Not even close on the others though.

i pulled 3 T10 items with a 10x summon stone. is that insane or not really? two of them are character specific UWs (i think crow and miruru?) and a generic gun, which is good enough for my annette right now.

gonna save my last 10x rare summon for archer, need that UW for selene

i currently have scarlet in the inn, and i want my next heroes to be sonia and cassandra. i might cave and buy one with gems

That's extremely good luck. It's a 1% chance per slot of getting a UW. The generic one is a 3% chance

If Scarlet is at your Inn you should get her. She's the most used Arena hero and has been for like 3+ months. Even after being nerfed she still stayed the most used. Just keep in mind she is pretty much an Arena only hero

I have both Sonia and Cassandra, I use Sonia way more frequently. Cassandra is another hero who is good at Arena but not so much outside of it (passable but virtually all other healers do it better)

The plus point for you is that none of Scarlet, Cassandra and Sonia need their UW.
