About 10 bucks if you buy an OTC kit from a pharmacy.

Just an estimate. Would my insurance cover it?

ear related.... yes. they better if insurance knows what's good for them (always taking money, never giving back).

They do wonders. Since I was a kid I used one. While you are in the shower let the tub fill little with warm water and the stuff will blast out. You may have to do it several times if the stuff is packed in there. I would get it so bad the stuff broke capillaries and had bad ear aches and headaches. The stuff that came out were bigger than pumpkin seeds. When my ear was cleared out my hearing was more sensitive for a few minutes. Been years since I had it that bad however.

Thanks, everyone

They don't feel clogged, they never do. I put a Q-tip in there, twist it a around a bit, and I never get wax on it. It comes out white. But it feels like they need to be cleaned. Never have before

Didn't cost me anything in canada. I went to the clinic and the doc just blasted a bunch of warm water in with a big syringe lookin thing. Took all of 30 seconds.

Never use q-tips in your ears. They're dangerous and only make the problem worse anyway.

The best way is to let a mild peroxide solution soak in your ears for 5-10 minutes and then blast it out with warm water from one of those squeezy bulbs. The hotter the water the better, but not so hot that you damage your ears. This is exactly what doctors do anyway, they just have bigger squeezy bulbs.

you should be able to go to your primary care physician and they'll do it (or their PA / nurse). I can do two visits a year for free, and only $25 if I go outside of that, through my insurance

They make over the counter earwax stuff where you just drop a few drops into your ear, leave your head tilted for five minutes (or however long it says), and then rise and do the other.

Worked wonders for me. I used to have earwax problems so bad that I legitimately couldn't hear out of my right ear. My mom had to take me to the doctor and the nurse like pulled out a massive gob of earwax the size of an earbud.

I fucked up by pushing a Q tip in too far and made myself deaf. Went to the doctor a few days later and he put this cold metal tube in my ear and shot ice cold water in there at high speeds to dislodge the hardened wax that was impacted on my ear drum. It was the strangest feeling ever and he even did the other ear too so my hearing would be equal.

I could hear EVERYTHING for the next couple of days. I work in an office so I just heard constant typing from everyone in the building no matter where I went. It was pretty cool.

Only cost me my $20 copay.
