It's funny. Not many people are proper film buffs, and yet films are a populist if not universal form of entertainment in the Western World. Although, music is pretty universal, but (and this includes me) not that many people are proper music lovers.

Id say a 5. I really dont care about films im not interested in and there are a ton i give no shits about.

i don't have a wide breadth of knowledge, but the ones i do know about, i know a lot about because i watch them excessively.

I like watching films and that's where it ends. I couldn't tell you the actors, history, budget etc.

Bordering on negative. Then again, I don't watch many films. I think I watched...iunno, two or three last year. None so far this year.

8/10 or 9/10 for me. I've seen a lot, and know plenty about indie films, but there might be some important gaps in my knowledge. Plus, as someone on CE said the other day, I have "bad taste" when it comes to major directors, like Kurosawa and Fellini.

I was in cinema studies in college, looking at film from an academic viewpoint, so I guess pretty high.

Compared to TC I'm probably like a 2/10

I watch a lot of movies but I never remember them. I'll finish a movie, I'll have enjoyed it, but a month later I can't recall the title or the plot.

Pretty bad. I mostly stick to watching 80s or 90s movies. The only way I learn about current movies is from RedLetterMedia. >_>

I am 1 point above Sunhawk. Any movies he sees are ones I already saw days, sometimes even weeks earlier. I also know all the ins and the outs more than he does, as I have made films and worked in the industry.

Id say 5 or 6 out of 10. My interest in the medium spiked considerably a little over a year ago & Ive been brushing up on my knowledge regarding it quite a bit, but I still have a lot to learn.
