The abuse was months of manipulation and gaslighting, using suicide threats to keep me in check, trying to control my social circle and isolate me, facing me with ultimatums and double bind decisions constantly, and normalizing all of it. There were multiple instances where I was also coerced into sex, coerced into unprotected sex, guilted about having sex (or not having sex), and in one case my consent outright violated.
