Current Events > I'm really liking Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders so far *spoilers*

I'm on the episode where they just got to Egypt and they have the dog with them and the blind dude is fucking them up. I actually like the monster of the week type of story they have right now, though I think the first two seasons had a better overall way of telling the story. This season has a ton of ass pulls (Avdol's whole arc, mirror mirage dude for example) but I guess that's the nature of the show. Every episode has been fun as hell though, except maybe the mirage one with the camels.

All the JJBA series are good, even Vento Aureo and Stone Ocean. The anime's only up to Diamond is Unbreakable, though.

Diamond is Unbreakable is fantastic and has 'encounters' moreso than monsters of the week that seek the cast out

Vento Aureo is like Stardust Crusaders but perfected. Has the best cast in the series

Stone Ocean is really good but has some issues and weird plot points/decisions imo. The colored english scans are also filled with spelling errors and such

Steel Ball Run abandons the weekly chapter style and brings the series to a new height

We assume so due to JoJo's popularity, but we have no word on a Part 5 adaptation yet.

I loved Phatom Blood and Battle Tendency.

So far, I've found Stardust Crusaders relatively boring in comparison. Old Joseph is the best part and he doesn't get enough chances to bring out his old tricks.

Yeah, I'm not usually a guy to say read the manga, as I don't usually do manga, but JoJo is worth it. Plus you have JoJo's Colored Adventure, that has everything translated on colored pages. It's really nice.

Stardust Crusaders is kind of the weakest point in terms of stand powers, but it goes uphill from there. Part 4 tries to break apart from the monster of the week format by making things "events" rather than "fights" so you have to guess if the encounter with the stand power is an enemy, something misunderstood, or just for shits and giggles. Part 4 does have the best villain in my opinion though.

Battle Tendency > Diamond is Unbreakable > Vento Aureo > Stone Ocean > Stardust Crusaders > Phantom Blood

They were all really good though. I don't know where to place Jojolion yet.

I really want to jump in. I read Stardust is the only one that's been translated in print, is that true?

I have a hard time reading American comics digitally and I like physical print for books and comics. I kinda fell out of the comic book game because of how pricey it became. My other hobbies took first priority.

Parts 1-3 are the only ones that have official English Releases. So if you're looking for physical copies, that's about as far as you can go.

I use a program called Honeyview and drop in the Colored Adventures and it works very well imo

Physical is certainly the best medium but for all you know you'll be dead before they get to the anime or English print of Steel Ball Run and Jojolion

I would at least give colored Vento Aureo a shot. VA seems to be either loved or uncared for depending on the person, so if it doesn't grip you, skip to Steel Ball Run. SBR broke the weekly chapter format among other things and it shows by being really fucking good, and it's an alt timeline so you don't need part 5 or 6.
