Im trying to buy Uncharted 4 from the sale, but the PSN says that my card information is invalid, which is weird because I successfully bought Resident Evil: Rev 2 minutes before I tried to buy the Uncharted game.

I also deleted my card information and re-entered it, but still wont work. Ive restarted my PS4 and still nothing. :/

Could this be a glitch or something?

Hmmm... thats odd. Ive only bought like two other things today that werent even gaming related or costed that much.

Damn! Ill probably have to call them on Monday since the bank doesnt work on weekends. ;_;

They could have had a semi breach and sent you a new card because of it. I have had it happen before.

Somebody with my bank got hacked and so they sent everybody new cards, but I never found out till my card didnt work one day. New one was already in my mailbox. Check your mailbox.

Mine stopped working on the PS store, for some reason. It works fine everywhere else. I used the Paypal option and that worked. You can also try buying some PSN cards elsewhere and use those.

psn is hella wonky with cards, going to the sony playstation website and adding funds usually works or you can use paypal

It's most likely a security hold, and if your card is with Visa you should be able to call 24 7.

I have a Master Card. I tried calling this morning but the automated system says to call back during normal business hours. -_-

Well the 60% off sale for Uncharted 4 isnt over until March 27th I think, so I wouldnt really be missing out by just waiting a day.

Ah. I was about to suggest calling since they are usually 24/7, but it's probably different with MasterCard. I would also suggest getting the PSN cards or whatever from a store. But if you don't mind waiting a day. Then you wouldn't need to do that, either...

Since you said it worked 2 minutes before, it probably hit fraud detection. While it doesn't always (or even often) triggers it, multiple back to back transaction is one of the many factors they take in consideration, especially if it's not something you do very often (since your history is taken into account).

These days I can make 10 steam transactions back to back without issues, but for a while if I did two in a row, I'd trip fraud detection.

Its kinda annoying because I didnt even spend all that much this week, about 60$ in total with my gas tank included. This happened to me before during the holidays, but that time I spent about 300$ish on random gifts for the family, which is much more understandable to lock up my card compared this weeks spending.

most shops sell psn vouchers now

any place with a paypoint will sell psn/xbox top up (it will be under e-money gaming vouchers)

so if the shop assistants don't know tell them to look under e-money then gaming vouchers

I think it may have been a glitch because I called my bank today, they said that there were problems on their end and that the card wasnt locked and should be fine to use. So then I try to buy the game from PSN again and it worked all of a sudden. Pretty weird.

Sony already fucked up at least once.

Buy digital PSN cards from amazon. You'll get the code within minutes (usually less than a minute) of confirming the purchase. This is also good because PS+ doesn't keep turning auto-renew back on because you don't have any billing info on the account.

I order mine from Best Buy if I don't need it right away for their rewards points. I think only their $50 one is digital.
