This kind of stuff is still happening today in African and Middle East nations (along with slavery, BTW), but TC and his ilk are terrified to criticize them in the same way for some reason.

It's not whataboutism when you're getting more upset about something that happened long before you lived than you are about that same thing happening today, during a period where you could potentially do something to help.

Sounds like selective outrage again. That selectivity always seems to have the same targets for you guys.

A torturer is about to become head of the CIA; America's foreign policy horrorshow is not that far in the past. If you want to talk about the middle east, how about the atrocities carried out by a Saudi regime we arm? You brought up slavery; there are open-air slave markets in Libya after our intervention there.

Also, Americans have every right to be more concerned with the actions of their government (which ostensibly they have some say over) than, like Boko Haram, who while horrible, will absolutely not respond to American outrage.

Most of our vets exposed to it got cancer, I don't even know what it ended up doing long term to the Vietnamese.

The point was the motive behind agent orange was not to harm the VC directly but destroy the foliage

that's not chemical warfare

I mean salting the Earth doesn't directly harm people but that's still basically chemical warfare.
