What is a Death Note? It is a supernatural notebook, owned by a Shinigami (a God of death). They reside in the Shinigami realm, where they write the names of humans in their notebooks - humans whose time it is to die.

In Season 1, a Shinigami named Ryuk was bored, so he dropped his Death Note into the Human Realm..... it was picked up by an Individual named Nier (ToonLink_With_Gun), who used it to purge the world of evil, and ended up killing many innocent people in the process. He outsmarted the detective known as L, who went into hiding.

It has been many years since Kiras Massacre, and Nier has turned himself into the Task Force, claiming to have been under control of a Death God and claiming to have lost all his memories of committing these atrocities. L is suspicious however, and returns to the Task Force in order to track down the Death Note and its holder, once and for all.

Season 2 begins here

RULES OF THE DEATHNOTE:

1. The human whose name is written in this note shall die.

2. This note will not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name

3. If the cause of death is written within the next 40 seconds of writing the person's name, it will happen.

RULES OF THE GAME

The Death Note has been passed from the hands of Kira to a group of individuals in the Yotsuba Cooperation. They hold secret meetings in the top of their companys tower, where they use the Death Note to perform Kiras killings. A select number of players will be a part of the Yotsuba group, which is the mafia in this game. Yotsuba Group wins when they outnumber Town.

- Lynches happen just like a normal Mafia game. Town wins by killing all members of the Yotsuba group and retrieving the Death Note.

- At Night, the Yotsuba group can write up to 3 names in their Death Note. But in order for those people to die, they must know the targets name as well as their face. So along with writing their username, they also attempts to guess which real-life player is behind that in-game anonymous name. If successful, that person will be dead the following morning. If unsuccessful, that person survives the night. The names and faces the Yotsuba group writes in their notebook will be visible to everyone the next morning. So Town will know who the Yotsuba group killed or attempted to kill.

- Everything else is just like a normal mafia game

- You might find secrets by searching around the forum. New things may also pop up inside it throughout the game. Keep an eye out.

The game will not be hosted on the mafia board, but on a special zetaboard so that we are all anonymous. I need at least 12 players, but more are welcome. The game is easily flexible balance-wise, because I am keeping the powers limited.

Instead, there will be multiple ways to gain abilities through actual detective work. Solving riddles, finding clues, and navigating through the forum. A little bit like an Escape Room. I'm very excited about this part of the game.
