She just canceled our date tonight so she could pack her mom's bag for a trip her mom is going on. Her mom does crap like this all the time, and I find it frustrating. Though I'm very calm about all of it. Background: She lives with her parents and is 25, her mom won't let her move out.

If I didn't know my girlfriend was serious about me and her mother was like this, I'd be more annoyed. I really like her, but this relationship with her mother is something that makes me wonder how things would work long-term. If things don't change when she moves out, it's not something I could deal with.

She needs to settle her **** with her mom first.

If you make an intelligent post, people tend to ignore it because they only respond to stupid. Don't believe me? Just look at most of the chained replies.

yeah, but her mom apparently won't let her out much so it's not like she can meet someone else very easily.

Haha but for real. I don't know how TC could reasonably put up with that kind of relationship.

ding ding ding. Not worth pursuing seriously unless she deals with her own issues.

Yeah, there's a lot of issues with her mother. I can be more understanding about it because I lived with my parents until I was almost 24, and where I previously lived it was normal to live with parents until older like that.

Yeah, she does. She plans on moving out within a year, and I'll see how it changes. If it does, it's fine. If not, I'm moving to another state in a bit over a year anyway.

She gets out most days/nights of the week, but this randomly happens once or twice a week and her mom demeans her for going out.

Does she have a job?
At 25 you don't need permission to move out.
You crash at a friend's place until you figure shit out.

Her dad is rich. She works for her dad. Her dad loves me, and strongly disagrees with the mom's behavior. Her mom does nothing to a point she called my girlfriend to come home from work during her lunch break to make her a cup of tea.

This sounds fictional.
If her dad's rich she would be living with her dad.

She lives with both of them >_<

They aren't divorced or anything.

Her dad does make her make his breakfast/lunch/dinner, but doesn't control her otherwise.

I also seem to attract girls who are controlled by their parents. It's always been an issue.

First girlfriend never wanted to move from her parents house, and planned on getting married and living with them.

Second girlfriend broke off her previous relationship after 4 years over her mom saying "no" to his caste, the we were secret for a while knowing it would end, and she's recently married to a guy her mother mostly approves of but she's only seen a handful of times.

And third girlfriend has these parental issues, but realizes their issues, spends a good amount of time swearing about it when over here, and is considering never talking to her mom again.
