Until your first level-up (which takes far too long), you have access to only very basic skills and abilities which makes the game appear more lacklustre than it actually is early on. After that obstacle it gets a bit more fun and you end up fighting more sub-bosses which have specific methods of being taken down. That said, it's still kinda half-assed. I wasted one of my level-ups buying moves so I could summon the other rangers for various team-up skills but turns out they only activate in multiplayer which seems like a huge freaking oversight... it's really lame soloing through an entire level without anyway to get backup from the rest of the team. Presentation and music is pretty nice if nothing else. I also love that you can manually morph, it's pretty hype trying to get through as much of a level as you can without morphing then hitting the button only when shit starts getting real. The game is mediocre to maybe ok if you're a huge enough MMPR fan and desperate to play but I'd only recommend grabbing it in a sale. I jump on for 20 mins or so at a time when I get a Power Ranger itch so was worth it for me.
