Yes No View Results As soon as Trump ordered a policy to ARM TEACHERS this Monday as a way to stop school shootings, Teachers in Texas RUSHED to free lessons being offered for teachers to take up arms as they are now allowed to bring their firearms on campus!! Teachers in Northern Texas were shown trying to look like a fake barny fife at a shooting range as 16 staff were given an ENTIRE DAY of training. They were shown by former Irving Police officer on how to handle a weapon in the event of an active shooter situation SWAT and police officers volunteered their time and expertise, teaching firearms training and active shooter protocol Kim Raney a teacher said "It's scary sometimes. We do our best to have security at our schools but you never know what's going to happen. And it's better to be prepared than not prepared so i got my gun ready for anybody wanting to hurt us. If our district ever let the teachers carry, then i'd be prepared and ready to teach and serve" Tim Bulot gave the teachers training as he now owns "Strategic Weapons Academy of Texas". He said "This is the first time i've done anythinig like this...normally it's police officers, SWAT and overseas contractors who we train here. I wanted to bring teachers and law enforcement together into our world because now we're not the first ones there on these active shooters. They are" The White just backtracked on any sensible gun policy changes such as raising the age to 21 to purchase a firearm and banning AR-15's as Trump bended to the NRA after a "Good meeting" with them. They proposed arming teachers just after Trump accused CNN of airing a story that he wanted to arm teachers which has now come to fruition.. Betsy Devos will now head a commission focusing on "mental health" and strengthening school security of which she supports arming teachers just after her embarrassing 60 minutes interview where she couldn't answer basic questions and admitted she NEVER visited a public school that was failing.
