Is the food any good? How much is the price? Is the selection any good?

PS -

I would totally look myself, but it's telling me I have to make an account just to look at pricing.

The entire point of Blue Apron is to avoid that.

I'm also wondering TC.

My wife and I have done it. The food is good, recipes are easy to follow and premeasured.

Price is cheaper than going out or grubhubbing.

Biggest issue is keeping up with actually cooking. If you run into a stretch where you go 2-3 days without using the food it can start to spoil.

We were doing a three meal plan and sometimes didnt get to all of them just because of time.

My ex-manager is a busy mother of 5 and swears by it. She said they have great prices for the volume, especially considering how much and how often you need to be shopping for a large family. It also gave a good variety of choices, and got their younger kids interested in food and cooking.
Not sure if it's economical for singles or couples, though, and can't speak for it myself.

We do 3 meals that feed two people. It's $60 a week. Decent value imo as the ingredients are good quality.

We like not having to meal plan for 3 days of the week.

People's biggest complaints are that it takes too long to cook. I don't think they really do, and you have choices for which recipes they will send you for the week and there are often 30 minute meals offered.

We like it and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys preparing their own meals. It's easy to cancel if you don't like it.

3. Cancel.
4. Repeat with another email and slightly different name.
5. Enjoy free food.

You can save money by going to the store, buying all the groceries and cooking it yourself.

The issue is that they have some specialty ingredients that can be difficult to find. And when you do find them you will have to buy an amount much larger than the recipe would call for and not be used again until you search for another recipe that calls for that ingredient.

Blue apron will give you the exact amount you need
