I didn't even have to bother with Daylight savings time because I was in a state that ignored it for 24 years.

Correcting people for that is splitting hairs - you wont gain any friends doing it. Its not going away, despite how stupid and capitalism-based it is.

We don't do that in AZ but since my company operates nationwide they feel the need to observe it. So even though our time doesn't change my shift changes twice a year ;-;
