i dont think violence in games is bad per se, but it is weird how many games who's key mechanic is shoot people. i never liked fps games or shooting games now that i think about it. i liked RPGs growing up, and even though those technically had violence, i was never shooting anyone.

Most of those weren't even that gruesome and most didn't glorify the violence. I mean if you're gonna make a point, at least try a little harder lol. But I'll give them props for using games other than GTA, like every other one of these types of things does.
