The Form Voltron sequence is pretty lame in the Netflix show. It's missing the wholly gratuitous lightning effects.

Honestly, there's something that's just pure magic about the starting the Lions sequence and form Voltron sequence from the original show. None of the gazillion of shows that have copied that formula since have been able to recapture that. Certainly not the Neflix Voltron.
