Never played it, never saw anything about it besides that magazine ad.

Anyone here play it? How is it?

Fantastic game as well as the sequel. I pretend that the third doesn't exist though

Apparently it was painfully average but good enough for people to want a sequel

It was a GB(A?) game that iirc had a solar sensing chip. If you played outside more you got some sort of power to use inside the game (I believe it was rpg or action/adventure focused with monsters).

I believe it was received well. To this day though most people will probably admit that playing a game-boy in public looks nerdier than playing one inside, even if Pokemon Go took off for a blip and most of us agree that you don't have to be a nerd to play games.

There was only two games. And they're both for gba.

Lack of character development and lots of absolutely worthless chatter. Not long cut scenes but a barrage of "let's go here!" "Ok" "wait a sec, what do you think?" "So we should?" "Yeah I agree!" So how about it?" "Pick: yes/no" "alright we're going anyway!!"

Awesome music, solid turn based battle system. Game has some flaws (at high levels psynergy sucks, except elemental physical attacks and healing is 2 gud, cast wish everyturn and you'll never die) great game otherwise though.

There's a third one for DS, but it's incredibly unfinished.

Camelot was originally planning a trilogy for DS that would make the original two nothing more than a prequel, but it was canceled after subpar reception of Dark Dawn.
