Sleeping Dogs is a really great game. If you never played it before, go get it now.

Mankind Divided is fun, but it's also the guaranteed monthly bundle game along with Mafia 3 and God Eater 2, which on PC should also come with God Eater Resurrection. If you want MD, there's a lot more value in the monthly.

I know the FF13 games have issues based on what I've read, but are they worth it at under $10 a piece?

Does anyone know if World of Final Fantasy is any good? I've been curious about that one.

I have it on PS4 and really liked it. Lots of nice references and humour about the older FF games, even in the bestiary. It really felt like a game for and by fans. It's a monster catching game which is addicting in its own right, and the designs are simply adorable. I liked the plot which can get pretty serious at parts. However, the insistence in staying true to the manzai comedy thing between the two protagonists can have some things fall a little flat. The brother plays the role of idiot, so if you are easily annoyed by that, it can be grating.

I'm told the PC version has porting issues but I haven't looked too much into that.

The game itself is great, but the PC port leaves a bit to be desired. The FAR mod seems to help a lot of people. If you get it and that doesn't work, you can still return it if you're under two hours of playtime.

I'd say they're at the very least worth playing. The story is a bit of a mess, but if you're already aware of the complaints, I thought they were good enough for a play.

I didn't like Automata because I couldn't get into the gameplay. You even have to replay part of the game to progress the story. I didn't feel like the story was compelling enough to make up for that. Definitely watch videos of the gameplay or get your hands on it if you can before deciding to purchase.

How is Deus Ex?
Aren't all final Fantasy games after 12 garbage?
Also I got FF9 for a decent price there.

Which Deus Ex? I only played the original, Human Revolution, and Mankind Divided and they were all great.

Type-0 is fun and I like the death theme. The plot is presented in a kind of confusing way unless you talk to a lot of NPCs and read the encyclopedia entries.

The 13 trilogy is probably the most flawed. I beat them but didn't get much urge to go back and play it again. Lightning Returns had an interesting battle system though and I wouldn't mind a reworked and improved version showing up in another SE game.

15, which I just forgot about, isn't a good game, in my opinion. It doesn't do anything with the open world despite that being a selling point, some things are very poorly explained, and I just can't get invested in the characters. The game doesn't do a good job making me care about any of them.

two hours of playtime.

such bullshit.

buy a game from store there is no time limit of the game is fucked up

2 hours is fucking pathetic. what happens if the shitting porting issues happen at 5 minutes past the 2 hourmark?

btw theres been no support for the game. so its effectively abandonware.

I haven't played any so I guess I'd start at the beginning. What are they like?

A pretty open RPG shooter. It gives you freedom on how you want to get through a level; if you like guns blazing, put points into your health and gun control abilities. If you like stealth, then invisibility or jumping height. It encourages exploration and the levels are well designed to allow these playstyles.

For the plot and setting, it's cyberpunk. Dark, trenchcoats, conspiracies, and transhumanism are the orders of the day. Ideally you want to start from the first one. It was released in 2000 I think, but still holds up pretty well, graphics aside. Human Revolution is a prequel to it, but has references or origins of things in Deus Ex, so I'd recommend playing them release order.
