I was just thinking about my old dog Ginger that my family had for about 15 years growing up. She was the perfect dog :(

I can't bear the thought of not having mine. I feel really bad for everyone's who ever lost a pet and wish them well. I feel it's something that can be hard to get over.

Most days for some of them. Granted, it probably doesn't help that I still have photos of them sitting around.

Yes my other cat. He got out and didn't come back one day. I assume coyotes ate him.

We've had to put down too many pets, and a couple died naturally. My cat that I had for like 15+ years fell asleep and died and we buried her outside. Sometimes something sparks a memory and I think about them. We had a kitten that only lived for three days, in constant pain, and I felt so fucking bad about it and he always pops into my mind. At least his two siblings were ok and we still have them.

Oh yes. He died a decade ago but I still have his pic in my wallet. I miss him everyday and still think on those happy memories from time to time.

Yes, but there's some I miss a lot. My dog Oreo was stolen out of my yard around the time I began posting here. He was a gift from my dad for my 21st birthday, and I loved that dog. It was pretty much the only birthday gift I've ever gotten, and the only gift my dad ever gave, plus he was just awesome. I hope whoever took him at least gave him a good home, that's what I worry about most when I think of him. He'd be over 13 years old now, so if he's still alive he'll be old, I doubt he'd remember me anyway.

Then there's the puppies he had with my mom's dog, I managed to keep 2 of them myself. I still have the one. She's the dog in my Facebook profile for the few users who added me. Her brother though, he was precious. One of the best dogs I've ever had, smart and adorable, and so incredibly friendly. Everyone loved him, even complete strangers. But he began sneaking off across the road to the factory located nearby, everyone there would share their breakfast with him every morning. Then one day one the workers accidentally ran him over on the way to work at that same factory. He stopped by that evening to apologize and he was crying, and I was crying, he said a lot of people there were upset that he wouldn't show up for breakfast any more. I miss him so much, but I have his sister spoiled rotten.

He'd remember. I'm pretty sure.

Also, did you ever call the police?

I had a pet snail, and if it died of natural causes I probably wouldn't have minded - but he was all mashed up and torn up the water pump :c

Not yet. We only had crappy pets like fish and hermit crabs growing up because my dad wouldn't let us get a dog because of his allergies. When he finally gave in, we got Cassie. She's 9 now. I'll miss her terribly when she's gone though.
