From the little we saw of Doom, I remember thinking "wow he does seem like an intriguing villain here, I would love some more fantastic four episodes and Doom episodes"

Since my only exposure to Doom before that was, well, the live action movies.

If the show had gotten a fair treatment we would have had so many seasons now, so many great episodes with all comic book characters, Doom included.

And it's fun without tripping out. It's so good, and I wasn't expecting much from a Marvel cartoon given their track record. But it just completely exceeded my expectations and made me sad that it got canceled in favor of something else which I always resented Disney for doing. I wasn't even onboard with MCU after they canceled this show, since this was before 2012's avengers and 2014's winter soldier and gotg when mcu really won me over.

Such a good intro. I love how the lyrics represent the characters, like tormented and attacked to describe hulk, etc.

Which just further makes me upset with what they did for season 2.

It's not even just that (I mean, there were still arcs like the scary skrull arc or the infuriating kree arc) it's that the writing and characterization was taking a nosedive up until it was canceled all for the sake of a more childish version of the show. Basically the exact same thing that happened with spectacular spiderman. The only 2 shows from Marvel that have ever been good, both canceled before their time. It's just so unfair.

It was a pretty good show, my only issue with it was the guy playing Stark doing like a sort of but not really RDJ impression that sounded kinda lame.

It was meh. Great animation but the plots were boring and predictable. Most of the episodes were about them fighting each other or they get possessed by a villain and then they fight each other again.

SS is particularly regrettable because it was canceled through no fault of its own. It was stuck in the middle between the disney acquisition of marvel, sony's deal with the spidey movies, etc etc

It was caught between Disney buying Marvel, Sony selling Spider-man merch rights back to Marvel, and Kids WB ending. It never had a chance.
