I have met one who called me naive because I did not believe that vaccine was bad.

He also believed that Michelle Obama was trans and that's why Obama was and I quote him "pushing the gay agenda".

This is the only time in my life I've met someone like that though. Anyone else met a similar person?

A Vietnam veteran who believes the government caused 9/11 to protect our poppy fields in the Middle East. Nice guy, but don't say anything which might trigger a political discussion.

i think some conspiracy theories are fun in movies/shows (aliens, powerful secret societies) and to joke about around a campfire (bigfoot, ghosts) or something but there are mentally ill people that kind of grapple onto them as if they're 100% true and run with it unfortunately.

i had a friend that was diagnosed schizophrenic, was convinced he was abducted by aliens. apparently he threatened his family and got put into some kind of mental health center for awhile, haven't talked to him in forever and really don't have a desire to after hearing about how he got violent.

My first(and only) roommate out of college was one. Dude would sit in his room all day listening to conspiracy radio, only coming out to smoke and bitch about whatever he heard. Dude was the ultimate c*** blocker.

Yea a guy who believes in a flat Earth.

He also believes that all races are Gods creations besides white people.

Kind of like he believes in that Yakub nonsense, though he's not Muslim.

He claims to be Christian, but I want to know what the hell kind of church or denomination it belongs too.

Not really a bad guy, he's just odd.

Yes, my uncle. He openly believes that Christians are the most persecuted people on the planet, that Islam is a conspiracy, that homosexuality is a conspiracy to undermine family values, that residential schools were not bad, that slavery was a good thing, that global warming is a conspiracy (in his own words, he saw a polluted dyke 'clean itself' after a few years so pollution isn't a problem), that Islamic leaders were in a conspiracy with Hitler, evolution is a conspiracy by scientists who want to disprove God, etc.

He just watches stuff on YouTube and Facebook that confirm his weird fundamentalist beliefs and then preaches them to everyone around him.

First one I ever met was a kid back in highschool back in the 90s and I unfortunately had history class with him. Everything was a conspiracy to him.

I've read up on them alot and the only one I'm convinced at is JFK assassination.
