Definitely go for the WiiWare stuff before the Wii Shop stops taking Wii Points. All the other games can be bought in other places, and I believe the Wii U's eShop has all those SNES and N64 games

I personally recommend Paper Mario, then Majora's Mask.

In my opinion, Super Mario RPG is crap, so I don't recommend getting that.

I can probably get the few exclusives in time at least. Not counting Lit, all I'd need to grab is the following

Blaster Master Overdrive - 1000
Mr Driller W - 800
NyxQuest - 1000
Pokemon Rumble - 1000

I could even play NyxQuest on PC (bought it on Steam), but I don't like it with keyboard and mouse.

Gameplay was discontinued. WiiShop is still up until next January, but they won't accept any funds getting added to your system sometime in March.

Perhaps Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap (Master System). It recently got remade though, which would be the best choice.

I was thinking maybe Phantasy Star, it's one of those series I've always wanted to play but never have. Pretty sure all the Phantasy Star games are available elsewhere too though. And I doubt there's any good 500 point WiiWare games either

The service is up until early next year so people can transfer to a WiiU if wanted, but no more shop on the Wii, it will be completely shut down, not just the games.
