even the persuasion system is deep
like you can simply:

1. use your speech skill
2. use your reputation to factions and stuff for leverage
3. look intimidating and scary. if you wear high quality armor and weapons, it is likely your opponent will be alot more scared to you, making them easier to convince
4. bribing.

the guy there said if there are guards nearby and you try to use intimidation to coerce your opponent, they will less likely be affected because well, the guards are nearby which can get you in trouble.

and you can play the whole game as a diplomat like character/ not engaging in combat

Even the first quest you get already got several choices from what i watched:

I will spoil it since it is p much a tutorial, it wont matter.

Basically this drunk owe your father, the blacksmith money from the hammer and nails he bought from your dad.

Your dad asked to get his money. Or his tools back if the drunk dont have it.

You find the drunk, confront him.

It can goes several ways:

With enough persuasion, convince him to pay

Fail the persuasion, it will escalate into a brawl

Or you can straight up beat him up.

If you are a sneaky character you can:

Sneak and pickpocket his key, break into his house, take your payment

Sneak, ambush him from behind and knock him out, loot the key

And that is literally just the first quest you receive.

The last time a 3d RPG had this kind of freedom was new vegas and ELEX to some degree.

This will deliver, i hope it will. I must deliver.

Thats why it is called kingdom come deliverance

The SJWs are convinced that the developers are nazi because there are no people of color in literal bohemia in 1403.

While there may be some imported slaves or something, it is rare. Very rare. In the southern part of the HRE, maybe.

Also there are alot of culture and ethnicity in the game, but since they are all have geneally same amount of melanin in their skin, SJWs just clump them up as "white people"

I'm probably going to end up pre-ordering this at GMG (since they have a 20% off voucher) the day or so before it releases.

I've tried to read and watch as little as possible on this so as not to spoil too much for myself, but from what I HAVE seen it definitely looks and sounds interesting. And if your comparison to New Vegas ends up being spot on then I'm sure I'll really enjoy it (seeing as I absolutely loved New Vegas).

Reading is a skill henry have the choice to learn. You can join as a monk and scribe for them, or just be illiterate brute with huge sword.

If i read correctly, the persuasion has 3 type of dialogue choice.

1st is pure speech, comes from speech skill
2nd is rank/reputation based dialogue
3rd is intimidation based on your equipment and combat abilty.

And if i heard right each element still compliment everything in a complex skill check.

Like when if you pick rank based dialogue, your speech skill still count towards it, like some percentage of it counts towards skill check and stuff.

Teh choice is really up to you and which skill you feel you have the most confidence in, while making the other 2 complementary

BAHAHAHASHAH just because it is first person with swords doesnt mean it id influenced by skyrim.

The influence comes more from the combat system of mount and blade while the other RPG mechanics are influeced by the great games of yore. Ultima underworld, fallout 1/2, even immersive sims like deus ex or thief in term of how you can solve a quest by multitudes of methods.

The armor system is not only for combat, but for reputation too.

Think the disguise system from new vegas where you can steal a legionnaire armor to enter caesar legion's territory without being attacked. It is like that, but more, more deeper.

For example, rings and amulets works in different way than any other RPGs. It works as a faction related accessories. Since there arecno magic and enchanting and stuff.

For example, if you do a quest for a certain noble, he will reward you his signet ring with hid crest. If you wear it in his land, the people will respect/scared of you and you can use it as a leverage if you get in trouble.

Of you wear it in his enemies' domain. Expect to get some insult or even get into a fight.

How it handle role playing elements are ttoally different than skyrim.

While the UI works with list based inventory instead of grid based like true PC rpg, it is still hell lot better than skyrin ultra shitty UI. Still a shame tho.

Oh, i can argue that it is closer to oblivion instead of skyrim. And while it is still kinda shit-ish, oblivion's UI are just much morr intuitive than (vanilla) skyrim

And holy shit, the only similar thing it is woth bethesda's garbage are you wield a sword.
In a fucking first person view. Inside an open world.

Oh KC:D have no loading screen when you enter a building because it isnt built with a turd of an engine.

The closest thing to compare that is published by bethesda is new vegas.

And new vegas is made by obsidian aka actual talented developer that know thei rRPGs
