I watch Rick and Morty, even though I'm not smart. One of the bits from one of the episodes was this (the video features some episode spoilers):

One of my many problems is that I don't always remember the chorus correctly. Instead, I get some other bit of music in its place. Worse, I'm not sure what the notes are that I misremember because I haven't worked with music like that in a long time.

Does this happen to any of the rest of you?

I'm always doing this in my head to the point where I sometimes don't remember any actual songs because they're just conglomerates of other songs. The best example I can think of is that when I was a kid, I merged part of Pretty Fly for a White Guy with We Will Rock You. I then went through a period where I didn't listen to music hardly ever. When I got older and started listening to music again, I heard We Will Rock You and wondered why the hell it didn't have the lyrics I remembered.

I thought it went like:

You got mud on your face, you big disgrace
You know he really doesn't get it anyway
For you no way, for you no way
We will, we will rock you
