You know that experiment on willpower they did years ago where they put a cookie/marshmallow in front of a child in an empty room and told them if they didn't eat it for 15 minutes, they would get another one on top of the one on the table?

What if the child reasoned that, there is no guarantee the people performing the experiment were telling the truth, so it's a safer bet to eat the cookie/marshmallow while it's as fresh as possible and while nobody could stop them while in the room alone, over the uncertain possibility of getting another cookie/marshmallow?

Once again I wish I could locate an audio clip/video I used to hear on the radio which I *believe* was from one of the Psycho sequels where the speaker is talking about how his household didn't have cookies growing up, instead only having fudge brownies because brownies make less noise =x
