Some christians like this person seem to conflate sin and sickness. Sure, you can say that sin resembles a sickness with symptoms and causes, but you can't take that one similarity and apply it the other way around. It's guilt-based thinking, where people like this view sick people as wanting and desiring to be sick, so it's their fault, especially if they die.

Viruses and bacteria are real, you can see them under a microscope, you can see the flu under a microscope turning your cells one by one into flu factories with or without your consent. Imaginary commands can't make it go away.
