Aristoph 02/03/18 1:07:58 AM #1:	Do you pack them? No, I open them immediately and smoke them as is from the factory. Yes, but not a lot. A few quick taps is about it. Yes, a fair bit, but nothing extravagant. A minute or so and usually only a few lines down. Yes, and I do it right. Nice and hard and long. Gotta pack that shit as deep as possible. ;-) View Results For the non-smokers out there, "packing your cigarettes" refers to when you take the pack and smack the filtered end against your palm or a table or whatever. Doing so packs the tobacco down in the tube, removing air pockets and thus giving the cigarette a smoother, less harsh drag. Being more dense, it also tends to burn slower and more uniformly, making for a better experience overall. Personally, I usually spend a few minutes idly packing them before I open a new pack. I typically get them down about 4-5 lines (those little rings on the tube that burn slower and are meant to make the cig go out if not actively being smoked to prevent starting fires, but they don't work and actually do jack shit). Once in a while I like to just go ham on it, though. My best was 9 lines. I don't recommend that, though. The damn thing was so dense it was actually difficult to pull air through.
