My husband thinks he's supposed to take me to a romantic movie and cuddle with me. I just want to order Chinese food in and go out to see The Black Panther movie. I told him we can either cuddle during that or after the movie. I hate romantic movies, because I don't find them to be romantic at all. Should I go to a movie both of us are going to hate, or see an awesome action movie? Did you tell him you don't want to see that movie and would rather see The Black Panther? Go to what you both want. Doing things you don't want while pretending you enjoy them sets a bad precedent That's what I told him. This one year he took me to a movie called Valentine's Day on Valentine's Day. It was terrible but he was so proud of himself that I just sat there and was glad to cuddle with him. This year I told him I want to see The Black Panther and he sighed at me and told me it's not a romantic movie. I tried explaining that I hate romantic movies because they're full of cliches. Not only that but I don't find breaking up then getting back together after crying about it romantic. It's romantic to spend the rest of our lives together being happy and in love. Giving up the last crescent roll is romantic. Making an ice cream sundae when you're tired so you can both enjoy it even though you're as tired as he is is also romantic. Hitting snooze so you can lie awake and cuddle for ten more minutes before getting up for work is romantic. --- Been a murder, over in Riften. Some old lady who runs an orphanage. The way I see it is if I wanted my face glued to the internet I could do that at home so it's pointless being out if I was that way inclined. I actually go out to escape my day to day things. I find it irksome when folk are always on their phones in social situations.
