Most days I just go home, watch TV, make dinner and eat, watch more TV, then sleep

I'd like to feel like I was doing more but the thought of doing anything but lazing around when I'm just gonna have to come home and work the next day is so unappealing

Idk how normal is that. I mean they say we're all just working for the weekend.

Play games, go for a walk, do grocery shopping, hang out with friends, go visit family.

Those are the things I did when I was single ans living on my own. Now that I have a kid any of those things are a real treat compared to constantly cleaning up after a tornado toddler.

Play soccer, play with my dog, video games. Usually in that order in terms of time spent. Need to start putting in some certification time for work.

Maybe get a hobby?

This is me, every week day. A part of me hates, a part of me is content.

Maybe because I have a daughter on the way and I know these moments of absolute laziness will be over soon.

But I am up early, moving around for hours at work and a decent commute. So not having the energy to do house work outside of straightening up is probably expected.

that's probably true
I play video games maybe two days a week with my friends and maybe one day a week with my girlfriend. Maybe a couple hours each time.

I should, yeah. Hobbies seem expensive, though.

Join a rec league, like a softball team or something. Really breaks up the week.

Find a new video game to play. Or Join a gym. Maybe work on some stuff around the house. Or make mods to your car.

I've been thinking about doing kickball or something, but they usually meet on weekends (at least that seems to be how it is around here). I don't mind my weekends so much lol.

You're probably getting yourself worked up for no reason. Wanting to just relax and decompress after work is very normal. After work, and after cooking and any other chores that need to be done, I'm way too exhausted to put any mental effort into anything other than watching TV or reading fiction, even reading can feel to active at times.

monday to friday: watch reruns of the simpsons during my 1 hr of free time before bed

saturday: do chores and run errands, maybe watch a movie or netflix show at night

sunday:do chores and run errands, maybe watch a movie or netflix show at night, stress about things i will have to do at work on monday

so it's pretty much a constant cycle of spending most of the week working/doing mundane lifestyle upkeep shit, waiting for free time on the weekend, and when i finally get that free time i squander it because i feel like i'm trying to steal back time from the workweek

Video games and (slightly crappy) digital art.

Some nights I exercise. Lately 30 minutes on an exercise bike every other night while playing handheld games. Used to use a really old rowing machine while listening to videos but it fucks with my left arm if I try to use it more than 5 minutes for some reason.
