A normal person wouldn't take that kind of verbal abuse, but because it's your JOB, you're expected to take it. Same with a cop. Because it's your JOB, you have to be more tolerable of dangerous things. It's what you literally signed up for. Yes you should wait until a gun's pointed at you, and possibly firing. Why? Because you're not a hit squad, you're meant to protect and save lives. So...like try that. Try issuing commands. Shooting first is what a civilian or a thug would do. Cops need to be held to a higher standard. Period. No one else gets the benefit of the doubt in their jobs, except for police for some reason.
