Not likely. I'll play the game because it's actually pretty good and I got it free with my CPU, but I'm not too crazy about supporting a game that integrates microtransactions to the extent that Origins does.

they have them, but I played and beat the entire game without buying a single microtransaction.

Man, I want to try Origins but I don't want to give Ubisoft money. I guess I'll just keep waiting for when used copies are cheap enough.

That's what I intend to do as well. I just don't like that the in-game currency economy is affected by them.

It's not at all. I'm not sure where you are getting that information. I finished the game and unlocked everything without buying a single microtransaction.

Here's one of the posts I'm referring to. Again, I have no idea if this is actually true and I'm going to keep playing so I can determine for myself what it's like.

If the drachma drop rate wasn't so low I wouldn't have a problem with Microtransactions, but they have made it so hard to get enough to get the Mounts and outfits, that for most people it will never happen, I got the Money glitch to work yesterday then spent over a million Drachma on loot boxes to see what dropped, I got one outfit the scarab soldier, even with the best farming method it would take people over 100 hours to gather one million Drachma and still not get what they want.

Then again, if it's only affecting cosmetics, I don't really gaf anyway.

I would have to check when I'm home but I'm not sure what Drachma is? Maybe its the games currency and if thats the case I bought maybe 1 thing from the merchants and the rest you find by playing the game. There are outfits you can buy from merchants but they are all cosmetic, and the best outfits IMO are the ones you get for completing side missions.

Yeah there's like... nothing to really spend your money on unless you really want to get 100% of microtransaction content for a single player game for that sense of pride and accomplishment.

I dropped nearly 100k drachma on the experience tablets you get at the end. That's about it.

'The Hidden Ones' can be purchased as part of the Season Pass or as a standalone for $9.99.

While there's no official number yet, early reports suggest a 3 to 4 hour main campaign and upwards of 5 hours of side content. This will vary depending on play-style including use of fast-travel.
The DLC will be accessible through a new quest after purchase.
The Setting:
'The Hidden Ones' takes place in the Sinai Peninsula in a mountainous region of Egypt, with the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Red Sea to the south.

The area is occupied by Romans during the game while rebel forces seek to drive them out.
New outfits, Legendary weapons, mounts and other items dot the new map, and you can take these with you back into the main game like a proper time traveler.
High-level:
The new content will be accessible at any time, however Ubisoft cautions players that this is high-level content and suggests players attain level 40 before attempting it.
Ubisoft has also announced that the level cap will be raised to 45 for DLC owners, with another raise (to level 55) planned for the next DLC.
Speaking of the next DLC, here's what's coming to the game next:
Discovery Tour is an educational, combat-free mode that let's you explore ancient Egypt while learning all about it at the same time. It's free for owners of the game or $19.99 as a stand-alone product. Coming February 20th.
The Curse of the Pharaohs lands on March 6th and pits Bayek against undead Pharaohs and mythical beasts in the first story-driven fantasy DLC for an Assassin's Creed game. Also part of the Season Pass or $19.99 by itself.

It's pretty much just more of the main game but at a higher level. You kill your first target like 10 minutes in >_>

Finally have a use for all the extra Carbon Crystal and I'm pretty glad I didn't sell off all my resources.
