So much replayability. Play em seperate. Connect em one way, connect em the other way. Go back to completed games and dick around with the extra weapons.

Agreed. I wouldn't mind if they remade them TBH, but then again they're also perfect as they are and don't really need a remake.

They also have some of the best puzzles in a video game.

Also the RINGS dude. They could expand on that so much. They could even add more over time via updates. Only thing I wish we coulda done is use our items while disguised using the costume rings.

I never see it. Theyre the black sheep of the zelda series outside of zelda 2 because they were made by capcom and not nintendo. They disappear alot when talking about 2d zelda games.

I think theyre the best 2d zelda games outside of Link to the Past. Nothing else matches them imo

I played Seasons first and then when I went to play Ages I was just like "wtfffff"

Ages was more puzzle-based, while Seasons was more action-based, so different kinds of players can find one harder than the other. My brother started with Seasons, I started with Ages, and we both had little trouble in that first run. Then we both beat our games, switched for the linked playthroughs, and got our asses kicked until we started helping each other. He was stumped by some of the puzzles in Ages, and I had trouble with some of the boss battles and Roc's Cape jumps in Seasons.

Same. And considering that I've always enjoyed 2D Zelda more than 3D, I'd say the Oracle games are my overall favorites in the whole series. I would love to see a remake of these games with a graphical overhaul and new features added.

I just played through Seasons for the first time a month or two ago.

Legit af. I'm not even normally a Zelda guy but even I have to admit that was some quality gaming. Especially considering it's for the literal GameBoy Color.

Agreed, you should get both. The way it works is that you do a normal playthrough of one of the games, get a password at the end, then do a "linked" playthrough into the second game that unlocks some extra features, a chance to upgrade certain items further (including the Noble Sword to the Master Sword), and the true final boss battle of the game. Then you can do the same starting with the opposite game, so you do a normal playthrough of both and a linked playthrough of both.

Ages is what I started with, and then linked Seasons. Both are great, but I have a stronger like of Ages. But as was said, Fuck the Jabu Jabu dungeon.
