Now the devastation of these evil acts is beyond comprehension or description and they can and have destroyed innocent peoples entire lives, their marriages, their family, their childrens lives, and their ability to make a living.

I truly believe if legislation is not passed in America to stop this kind of thing it will be the end of America as we know it.

When we are living in a place where literally no one cares who is guilty and who is innocent, who is wrong and who is right, and the only thing they care about is are you on their side or are you on the other side, and how can they make money by destroying the lives of those on the other side, and how they can get better ratings and how can they can get more people to read their trash.

Her accusations against him are false and her story is completely fictional and made up.

She never came to his home by herself or with anyone else.
Moreover, he did not live in Beverly Hills.

She can provide no description of this home, either the outside or the inside. She hopelessly claimed to have seen a table and a photo of his wife at the time.

Neither supposed observation was insightful or credible. Ms. Simons can produce no photo of them together. The photo she produced is meaningless. Mr. Seagal is standing twenty feet away from her surrounded by a crowd, talking with other people. Further, she was not in the movie. There is no documentation that she was in the movie. She received no credit of any kind. She may have wanted to be an extra in the movie, but she was not.

Moreover, her story simply makes no sense.
One example, she claimed that she was so young and inexperienced, that she had to be escorted by her brother to the open call for extras in the movie. But then, she travels to southern California and drives to a house in Beverly Hills that she has never been to before to attend a Hollywood rap party all by herself, without friend, family member or agent. This is transparently absurd and lacks any credibility.

A hallmark of false accusations is that they lack credible, specific details. The tail Ms. Simons has told is bereft of any credible details. Even after 25 years, a truthful person would
remember the details of what happened. Her claims are vague, generalized and gloss over obvious details. If she were being honest, she would be able to authenticate her claims with specific facts. She has none because her claims are completely fabricated.

Further, her accusations date back over 20 years. The California statute of limitations has run out. Her accusations are only for publicity. She has had no career in Hollywood of any kind.

Now the opportunity presents itself, she comes forward for her publicity.

1. DNC pay a company called Fusion GPS to dig up dirt on Trump
2. Fusion GPS hire an ex-British spy called Christopher Steele, who supposedly has "Kremlin sources"
3. Fake "golden shower" dossier gets produced, Steele himself thinks it's probably nonsense, but hey, gotta earn his pay somehow, passes it over anyway
4. Fusion GPS enthusiastically pass it over to DNC
5. Obama admin uses the FAKE dossier as an excuse to request FISA warrant on the entire Trump campaign
6. Obama admin-appointed judiciary approves warrant despite ZERO hard evidence on the dossier (gee, isn't it comfy to be a de-facto dictator?)
7. Alphabets start sniffing
8. Naturally, they find nothing (Clapper said as much in the testimony - NO DIRECT EVIDENCE OF POLITICAL COLLUSION BETWEEN THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN AND THE RUSSIANS:

1. Fusion GPS was first hired by conservatives to dig dirt on trump during the primary. But after trump becomes the frontrunner and favorite to take the nomination they stop funding fusion and DNC pick up where they left off. This seems fine to me.

2. It is true that Steele's involvement began during this dnc funded time yes.

3. The dossier is primarily about Page's trip to Moscow. The implication that Trump is potentially being blackmailed by Russia for things he may have done is irrelevant so you can leave the "golden shower" out of this.

4. They have what amounts at the very least to some juicy circumstantial evidence. Why wouldn't they be excited about that? They were paid to find dirt and they did.

5. The dossier is at unconfirmed, that is not nearly the same thing as having been proven to be fake.

6. By all accounts the steele dossier was not the only evidence that would have been considered for a fisa surveillance application.

Also applications for surveillance do NOT require proof beyond av reasonable doubt. The purpose of the surveillance is to acquire some proof.

Here is a relevant excerpt from a NYT article about the fisa process:

William C. Banks, a Syracuse University law professor who has studied the FISA Court, said that without reviewing all the documents involved in the surveillance request, it was impossible to judge the importance of how Mr. Steele was described. But he emphasized that the government had broad leeway in seeking FISA warrants.

Carter Page was doing business in Russia, talking to Russian diplomats who may have been involved in intelligence activities directed at the United States, Mr. Banks said. Game over. The standards are incredibly open-ended.

So you can argue if you want about the morality of the process of government surveillance, but nothing about this usage of it is in violation.

8. Indictments have been issued to Manafort and Gates. Papadopoulos has taken a plea deal presumably for cooperation. Flynn is somewhere in the mix as well. These things have not just happened for no reason. No they haven't made all their evidence public, but that is standard procedure for a ongoing investigation.

And anyways how much indirect evidence of collusion do you need to see before you will be willing to admit that there might be some direct evidence in existence?

There is certainly enough to justify surveillance which is the bottom line for this situation.

Written by Devin Nunes (a member of Trump's team and congressional Republican) we don't know everything in the memo, but what we do know is that it supposedly exists to complain that Rod Rosenstein (appointed by Trump) filed for a renewal of a warrant on Carter Page (another member of the Trump team). (Carter Page has been a focus of the FBI since 2013, and FISA warrants need to be renewed every 3 months. Note that a Judge, not Rod Rosenstein has the final say--if nothing was found in 3 months, they refuse the warrant shut down the investigation. Note also that 2013 is before the start of the Trump campaign). So...anyway this version of the memo was written by Republicans in Congress who work for Trump. Democrats in congress wrote their own memo based on the same intelligence. The memo written by Democrats was blocked for release by the Republicans. (Due to procedural stuff, the public won't actually see the Republican memo until next week).

Now, personal speculation time, If I had to guess, it looks like Trump asked Nunes to give him a reason to fire Rod Rosenstein so that he can appoint a new deputy attorney general who would get rid of Robert Muller, and end the Muller investigation. This coming in the same week that Trump seemingly got rid of Andrew McCabe Deputy Director of the FBI. Also in the same week that Trump unconstitutionally refused to implemented a law passed by congress, passed by the senate and signed by him (Russia sanctions). Where does the FBI fit into all of this? They have no authority over Rosenstein or Muller, after all. Well, yesterday we learned that the FBI just received a second Trump-Russia dossier and were assessing the information in it.
