To be fair the boyfriends, husbands, partners of co-workers do help out at work for free occasionally. They're voluntold. And not usually posting online while doing so.

But they know by now that will happen if they're hanging out at work during work hours

Yes and? The partners of the employees end up volunteering a lot of their time. I did say that would be weird (if not illegal) at a place like a bar and wouldn't make sense in an office. We appreciate their help

I also have a job that I get paid for. And I make cash as a musician on the side which is how I met her. But I have fun coming up here and getting drinks a couple nights after gigs or rehearsals and I get the drinks at a discount or free often times. And I return the favor by helping out. It takes likes maybe 30 minutes of my time st the most. Then we go back to our place and hang out. And we get more time because I help. Quit being toxic
