These are moments you consider to be priceless, irreplaceable, or flat out perfect. Can be anything as small as tea with a neighbor, to the biggest life achievement you've never dreamed you'd ever reach. Everyone has different ideas of what constitutes perfection, so I won't judge. I'll start...

One of my perfect moments was playing Dead Island cooperately with a friend who hates zombie stuff. M$ had just given the game away for free on Games With Gold on the 360, so my friend dled it. He wasn't into the idea of a 1st-person zombie game, but I talked him into playing it because I'd been playing it for so long and I loved it.

It was summer at the time and I'd been a big beer drinker. The night that started our co-oping was especially humid and hot, so I had loaded up on my fave beverage. Kinny was feeling cloudy and I was pretty drunk as we started Act II. It had suddenly occurred to me how much fun I'd been having (with my best friend) for the past 8 hours. 8 hours!? Holy crap! We decided to call it a night and agreed to play again later that day.

I went outside to smoke a cigarette and take in the morning summer sun. It was peaceful, warm but not too hot, and I was feeling good. I realized it was one of my perfect moments in life.

I'll tell you about the 3 perfect moments I had with his sister if you guys get this topic to 50 posts.

Yes, sir. This qualifies.

Do I need to clarify what a moment is to some of CE? A moment is a brief period of time in which one can record, and relive, for better or worse, their perception of said time.

It was about 11 years ago now, in college. We'd had a party at our house on a saturday night and it was a blast. My closest friend in the world, Danielle, had been over and we'd spent most of the night hanging out in my room drinking, smoking, and playing music with a few of the "VIP" friends of the house (my room was always off-limits during parties for the randoms). Danielle had a few too many, and she had driven to our house, so I said she should just spend the night. She didn't argue. :-P

We were both drunk, so nothing "happened" that night. We just cuddled up real close and fell asleep. Which was nice, but the perfect moment happened in the morning. I had to work early, so I'd set my alarm. When it went off I reached over her to hit the button, and gave a soft kiss on her neck as I did. She just looked up at me and smiled, then turned over and put her arms around me and laid her head on my chest. Neither of us said a word, just kind of got lost in each others' arms. We laid there until I had to get ready for work. There was absolutely nothing else I wanted in that moment. It was literally the happiest, most content moment of my life.

Running late going to work. Got out of the shower and realized I left the keys in the truck so I can't auto start it while I get ready. Wearing nothing but my towel I embark out to start the truck so it's warm when I leave. And when I say got out of the shower I mean I had just got out.

The second I open the door steam starts pouring off every party of my body. I'm essentially glowing. I look like I just went super saiyan with this godly aura I'm projecting. It was the most powerful I ever felt starting a truck.

More gay than bi, I mean I still sometimes sleep with girls but generally only when my partner (who is actually half/half) does. Much more attracted to guys (specific types) though. :P

Oh. I 'm sorry if I seemed unsure, but you seemed more 'straight'...not that there is any reason that should be considered 'less' important. You're more gay. Fine. To me it is irrelevant.

I'm a music major at a community college. A couple years ago we had Donny McCaslin come down as a guest artist for our jazz festival. Donny wrote out some big band arrangements of his music and wanted to play and record them with us. That summer we went to a legitimate recording studio and recorded an album. For the most part it was a group of friends all working on something bigger than all of us. It was perfect for the moment, but it's hard to look back at it positively for personal reasons over the past few months. That's actually where most of my "perfect" moments fall now.

An upcoming one is my final concert with the community college coming this spring. I'm going to Sonoma State next fall, in the spring Sonoma is hosting a concert and asked for my community college's band to be the guest band. So my last concert with my current band will also be the first with my future band. It's a nice bookend.
