It's technically more of a pipeline, but it takes in books/blogs/articles/text and ports it into a readable format for smart watches, complete with search and note functionality.

Are you aiming to make any money off of it? If so, do you see a need for people trying read articles and take notes from something the size of a smartwatch? Cool thing either way.

Thanks for thinking of me! I'm not sure if any of my projects are all that exciting.

- In the middle of building a cabinet dedicated to my cats (@ DifferentialEquation you'll like this). It's a cabinet that houses their litter and the top works as a large cat bed/window seat. It's just a nice way to keep their litter so it doesn't look like an eyesore and it keeps the odors down.

Wait, so will their actual litter box be housed in the cabinet, or just the bags? I could see it getting kinda gross if the box is in there, but I could just not be feeling the full scope of it over text.

I'm changing my wood shop to a gym. I need my dad to take my old delta unisaw so I have space to move, finish the sheet rock, get some carpet installed and a few finishing touches.

I mentioned it numerous times, but I hire models for drawing. It's really an awesome experience meeting new people and working on something creative. I have also enabled or inspired people to break into the modeling world.

My newest project is a research and development company I am starting. I plan to seek clients who need research work done but are either too small a company to hire full time researchers or are a large company with too many projects that need to contract out some of their smaller jobs.

Ideally, I would hire other researchers from different fields to be able to tackle more topics of inquiry. Once I finish my PhD later this year, I will have the credentials to make my company seem more legitimate.

it's just for fun but i can see potential for selling the software to a giant publisher.

I mean, you have over 100 subscribers. That's definitely a start. How did you get to that point?

Lots of social media-ing honestly. Posting to local fan groups, gamer groups, any place that seemed relevant to the content. But it's been slow, we're around 1.5 years old now.

100 was a big milestone for us though, I'm quite proud of that. We've been stepping up our production quality significantly this year as well. Just need to figure out how better to market ourselves and reach out to a bigger, more visible audience. A lot of places forbid self promotion.

What I've noticed is this is true - for outsiders. I bet there's a lot of places where if you're an active part of the community, you can push your own works.

I can hook you up with my dad. Ever since his stroke in 2014, he mostly spends his life making bread and wine, watching the stock ticker channel, taking care of his dog, and working out.

I imagine he has some good stuff to say about the activity that takes up a quarter of his active life.

And thats what I thought too, Ive always been interested in graphs and stats. It meshes well with my schedule and tells me how Im spending my time each day too

I more or less abandoned a project I was working on and now I keep falling into the problem where I have no motivation to write or inadvertently end up writing the same thing.

Working on a novel.
I have ideas for two others in the same universe, plus wisps of a fourth.

True, but really I don't have much time for that unfortunately. Got a Full Time Job and new baby. The only place I frequent is well...here.
