There's also an issue of when does the round restart happen? Immediately before the fraudulent save? So then cyan's Gilgamesh save just gets wiped out? Do round timers restart so everyone whose hour wasn't up can immediately save again?

There's not an easy way to go about this, despite what some people may tell you.

No matter what we do, the result is already compromised by the fact that the dumbass wiped out 7 hours of a contest that is meant to run 24/7, which could easily affect the result, and I say that as someone whose main is really weak overnight.

Oh yeah for sure he should be banned for the entire run. It's one thing if he fucked with it once to see what would happen and an illegal save got counted and we had to manual the rest of the round. That'd be like a one round ban and a "don't do that shit again." But he deliberately sabotaged an entire contest and did so at a time when he knew he would get away with it AND it isn't his first offense cheating in Save Mys.
