This will literally never happen. In the next 100 years humans are not going to gain mastery over nature enough to make a Redwood Forest or Beach in a building, and the sheer effort it would take to "carve" open these blocks is unimaginable.

The amount of plumbing, electric, and heating needed to make this building work or happen....having a way to access all of these things if something happens.

As much as I love the sound of this concept, a few things would always be on my mind like travel, damaged infrastructure and accessibility. If those things were ironed out fully then I'll be all for it.

That's a really dumb concept because skyscrapers already do what this thing proposes. There would be no point to build this instead of just one big solid skyscraper.

plus even in the short term, it would be an amazing tourist attraction

I already addressed that. There's no point to building this as opposed to a regular big skyscraper or multiple skyscrapers. Think about it, there's nothing this thing does that can't be done conventionally.
