Its pretty obvious why there was a second order given...because a gun came into play. A gun that shouldnt have been there.

Why shouldn't it have been there? I thought you people were all for people having guns. Is it because he's black?

Cause he was high. Im sorry you're racist and make everything about race

You only think he was high because the cop argued about it in court. There is no evidence he was high when he was pulled over.

For a broken taillight.

Um. I think he was high because the reports where he had thc in his blood, videos of him going on blunt rides with a 3 yr old surfaced, & the cop smelled it.

Literally none of those prove that he was high. THC stays in your blood for months, those videos were older, and cops always say they smelled pot to justify their horrible actions.

In other words, follow the cop's orders, except when they contradict and if so then you need to 100% know what they actually mean, or else you die and if you do lose that game of Simon says, you're dead and it'll be considered justified.

Even if that were true, which you have literally no proof of besides a tiny amount of it being in his system from god knows when, what's wrong with him being high? Laws against weed are wrong and should all be abolished

Proof he only had a tiny bit in him?

Agreed laws against weed need to be abolished. But i still want anyone with a CC permit to be sober when carrying. Its only logical

The cop however is aware of the fact that he told this person to stop reaching, three times, all of which castilo unfortunately disobeyed.

The cop gave him two orders

One was to get his wallet, which he was obeying.

The other was not to reach for his gun, which he was also obeying.

Odds are he would have shot him either way because he was ignoring his demand to get his license.

The audio shows that once he mentioned he had a gun he told him to stop moving...which he disobeyed

Because if he stopped moving he'd be disobeying the previous order.

It's literally impossible to obey all a cop's orders because they shout multiple contradictory ones.

What about the classic don't move/get on the ground/hands on your head/crawl towards me/stay perfectly still crap they use to justify shooting people on the ground?

Its pretty obvious why there was a second order given...because a gun came into play. A gun that shouldnt have been there.

Dude, you think a chemical test proves he was high. The only law you argue is clearly in your mom's basement.

Um. I think he was high because the reports where he had thc in his blood, videos of him going on blunt rides with a 3 yr old surfaced, & the cop smelled it.

You can try to throw insults around but its clear you are only insulting me because you may be wrong here

Again, the THC in his blood was such a low amount that it almost didn't register. Videos of him PREVIOUSLY being high don't prove he was high WHEN HE WAS KILLED. And, again, the cop didn't smell marijuana. There was no mention of this in his initial reports, or any of his statements. He didn't mention marijuana until he was already facing a jury trial for Manslaughter.

And I know I'm not wrong, because I lived in Minnesota when this happened, and saw every fucking news report in print and on local TV about it, from beginning to his finding of Not Guilty.

Proof that being high makes you more irresponsible with a gun? He didn't use the gun to kill anyone, didn't point it at anyone, didn't do anything with it.

I don't see problems with people carrying guns while on a substance that doesn't make them more prone to using those guns.

If you're carrying a gun while drunk on alcohol, that's a different story.

Again...im asking for a link to this claim because i cannot find it myseld.

And nope cop saw smoke and smelled marijuana in the car. I'm going to believe this cop especially

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Paulsen said that while Reynolds indicated to officers that she and Castile smoked marijuana, he said it was a general statement that was not in reference to their marijuana use on the day of the shooting

The St. Paul Pioneer Press newspaper article, printed three days after the cop's lawyer argued "but he was high, so my client had ABSOLUTELY NO CHOICE but to kill him with zero physical provocation!"

You know, St. Paul, Minnesota? The city Mr. Castille was killed in by an irresponsible cop with an itchy trigger finger brought on by trying to bust a black man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint?

Okay so you're dropping the "he was following orders" schtick then right?

Advice: blanket statements are very stupid. Yes, ignoring orders can be a reason to kill someone. If a bad guy has a gun, and he's going to reach for it, and he gets it and begins to aim at a cop. Ignoring orders is a reason to kill someone

You are unreasonably against cops. You a very biased and jaded.

Except reaching for whst the cop thought to be a gun

First off, he wasn't. Second, it doesn't matter. Reaching for something should not be a reason to get killed.

If I see a cop reaching for something and shot him, I would likely be given the death penalty. So why should the reverse be okay?

1. Thats called hindsight
2. Yes it does matter if you reach for a gun. Lol

If a cop reached for his gun, I wouldn't be justified in killing him. If he pointed his gun at me, I wouldn't be justified in killing him either.

Shouldn't be true in reverse either.

Nobody should get killed until they actually hurt someone

Yeah I'm starting to realize that

I'm anti killing, regardless if the killer is a cop or not
